Biggest stress factor: not seeing family

It’s official: “not seeing family” was declared the biggest stress factor, felt by 77% of all people, in a YouGov survey undertaken in Australia at the height of the COVID pandemic – well ahead of “feeding the family” (at 48%), “losing a job” (49%) or “paying the bills” (60%).

With the COVID crisis having massively affected family life – and family courts scrambling desperately to join the 20th century (though, sadly, not yet the 21st) – isn’t now the time to put children and families at the top of every political agenda, all the time?
