Early Intervention
Much of the focus of the work of Two Wishes is on creating and promoting early support and early intervention. ‘Early’ means much earlier than tends to happen now.
In Australia, for instance, earlier intervention has been championed in a range of fields by Professor Frank Oberklaid of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. In the UK, the Early Intervention Foundation provides a great summary of the importance of early interventions in a range of fields:
